Awards & Recognition
UNLV and the Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) Board of Regents recognize the achievements of faculty in teaching, research/creative activity, and service with a number of awards each year; as well as those achievements of undergraduate and graduate advisors and undergraduate and graduate scholars. In addition, many academic colleges/schools have their own awards to honor faculty, staff, and/or student achievements.

2026 Academic Achievement Awards
The 2026 Academic Achievement Awards Ceremony will take place at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, in the UNLV Foundation Building/Blasco Wing.
Faculty Length of Service Recognition Program
The Faculty Length of Service Recognition Program, held each year in the fall, recognizes significant employment milestones of UNLV’s dedicated academic and administrative faculty members.
Rebel Awards
The Rebel Awards recognize outstanding UNLV students and their achievements from the past year. When the nomination period is open, any student, faculty, faculty assistant, graduate assistant, or staff can nominate a student or student program for an award.
