Inductees of the Nevada Business Hall of Fame are highly respected individuals who exemplify business achievement and community leadership, and all have contributed significantly to the state’s economic growth and prosperity. It is our honor to announce the 2024 inductees.
Jan Jones Blackhurst
UNLV Black Fire Leadership Initiative
Jan Jones Blackhurst is a long-time political and business leader who spent most of the 1990s as the first woman mayor of Las Vegas – one of the most popular mayors in the city’s history. She then joined Caesars Entertainment, where she and her teams developed the industry’s first Responsible Gaming practices, advancing environmental stewardship and advocating for important social issues. Jan speaks extensively at many universities and helped establish the International Gaming Institution Center of Excellence at the University of Nevada Las Vegas.
In 2021 She became Executive Director, the UNLV Black Fire Leadership Initiative.

William P. Foley II is a businessman and philanthropist responsible for the founding, growing, and operating of several sports teams, public and private companies, and charitable foundations.
Bill Foley formed the Foley Entertainment Group (FEG) to capitalize on future opportunities and acquisitions. He is also the Chairman and CEO of Foley Family Wines, Inc. While being a passionate, adventurous vintner, Bill Foley serves on the board of several publicly traded companies, including Fidelity National Financial, Cannae Holdings, Dun & Bradstreet Holdings, Inc., and several others.

MGM Resorts’ portfolio includes some of the most recognizable resort brands in the industry, such as Bellagio, MGM Grand, ARIA, Mandalay Bay and Borgata.
As CEO, he oversees all aspects of MGM Resorts’ strategy, operations, and hospitality and gaming development projects.
2024 Lee Thought Leader
We are excited to include our 2024 Lee Thought Leader, Daniel Lamarre, as part of this year's event in addition to our three Hall of Fame inductees.
For the last two decades, as President and Chief Executive Officer of Cirque du Soleil, Daniel Lamarre was in charge of strategy at the business development and operations level.
Maintaining the fine balance between the company’s overall strategy, stability, and financial growth, as well as the integrity of its culture and corporate values, Daniel spearheaded the company’s transformation into the global live entertainment leader it is today.
Daniel will share his story of business, art, innovation, and the role Las Vegas played in the evolution of Cirque du Soleil.
