Alan Molasky
Alan Molasky is the founder and Chairman of Ovation Development Corporation, a company founded more than 40 years ago in Las Vegas that is today one of Nevada’s largest and leading developers of both market rate and affordable rental housing.
With a current portfolio of 36 apartment communities valued at more than $1 billion, Ovation’s portfolio encompasses more than 13,000 units, including 15 income- and rent-restricted communities for seniors totaling more than 2,274 units. By 2028, Ovation will complete six more multifamily affordable communities in Southern Nevada with over 1,650 units, providing much needed relief for low-income seniors.
Molasky’s commitment to providing affordable housing comes from his conviction that everyone, regardless of income, deserves a quality home that helps to strengthen individuals, families and community. Ovation’s affordable multifamily communities are built and managed to the same standards of quality as its market-rate multifamily communities - complete with recreational amenities and wraparound resident services.
In addition to his accomplishments with Ovation Development Corporation, Molasky is a principal with Molasky Group of Companies, founded by his father Irwin Molasky, which designs and develops award winning properties throughout Southern Nevada and the nation, including office, commercial, residential, multifamily, retail, healthcare, aviation, law-enforcement and correctional properties. In Southern Nevada, The Molasky Group of Company’s transformational and signature projects include Sunrise Hospital, Boulevard Mall, Paradise Palms – the city’s first master-planned community - to name just a few.
A prolific real estate developer, Molasky got his start as founder and principal of Pacific Properties, a Las Vegas-based real estate development company that built nearly 3,300 apartment homes throughout 13 communities in the 1980s and 1990s.
Never content to rest on the power of the family name, Alan Molasky has worked tirelessly to forge his own path, becoming one of the state’s most respected developers of multifamily communities with a special focus on affordable housing for seniors, a commitment that speaks volumes about his mantra to do the right thing. Yet, his modesty and preference to remain under the radar dictates his signature low-profile.
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Molasky and his company are generous benefactors of numerous local nonprofits. He is an active participant in the family-run Molasky Family Foundation hat quietly donates millions of dollars to a variety of nonprofits and initiatives, rarely seeking publicity for its largesse. Over the past decade, the Foundation has donated more than $10 million to organizations that address homelessness, food insecurity, health and wellness, medical research, education, environment and community.
