UNLV offers undergraduates 78 majors and 84 minors that will prepare you for any career. These sessions are geared toward undergraduate students and will allow you to learn about the programs our colleges and schools offer.
Lee Business School Scholarships and Paying for College
The session will walk students through the application and timeline for Lee Business School scholarships and explore the options and opportunities available for paying for college.
Troesh Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation
The Troesh Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation offers resources, curriculum support, and research opportunities to promote entrepreneurship across the university and southern Nevada. It also supports business plan development, competitions, the student-run Rebel Venture Fund, and connects students with real-world ventures, investors, and speakers.

Open House Experience
- Real Estate and Business Society: The UNLV Real Estate & Business Society (REBS) connects students with real estate professionals through mentorship, internships, scholarships, and networking events. We offer hands-on experiences like site visits and urban development activities, while promoting community involvement through fundraisers and volunteer work.
- Gamma Iota Sigma: UNLV’s chapter of Gamma Iota Sigma was chartered in 2023 following the launch of the Kerestesi Center for Insurance and Risk Management. Gamma Iota Sigma is an international professional fraternity with 100+ chapters and 5,000+ members dedicated to promoting careers in insurance, risk management, and actuarial science while fostering academic excellence and industry collaboration.
- UNLV ISACA: The goal of the ISACA Student Group (ISG) is to provide guidance and opportunities to students who are preparing for a career with a leadership role in all industries reliant upon and supported by information systems in such topics as cybersecurity, IT audit and risk.
- UNLV National Association of Black Accountants (NABA): The UNLV National Association of Black Accountants (NABA), founded in 2023, is dedicated to engage, empower, and educate minority business leaders and institutions by providing a platform to enhance skills and elevate one's voice. Our goal is to empower minority group members in business by fostering community, enhancing knowledge, and providing educational opportunities. UNLV NABA welcomes all business majors across campus.
- Cyber Clinic: The Cyber Clinic is a student-led organization that helps small businesses reduce cyber risk by assessing security gaps and recommending protective measures. In partnership with the UNLV Office of Economic Development and the Nevada Small Business Development Center (SBDC), the clinic supports under-resourced businesses in identifying vulnerabilities and strengthening their defenses against cyber threats.
- International Business Association (IBA): The IMA Student Chapter at UNLV works to prepare emerging leaders and future accountants by providing students with unique opportunities to network with professionals, strengthen their community engagement, and enrich their knowledge in business. This organization is open to all majors who are interested in business with a focus on accounting, finance, information systems, and management.
- Artificial Intelligence in Business (AIB): The International Business Association organizes activities to enhance and complement the international business major, providing opportunities for students to meet with others also in the major, as well as with business people with international expertise. This club is open to all majors and anyone interested in international business.
- Department of Information Systems: We empower leaders to drive digital innovation, insight, and security in a connected world. Our programs prepare students to become business and technology professionals who drive change across industries by developing systems, leveraging data, advancing cybersecurity, and utilizing strategy to drive transformative innovation.

Cybersecurity–How to Hack the Web: Web Exploitation
Ever wonder how hackers bypass passwords or steal information? Join us for an interactive workshop where you'll learn the basics of how to break into websites and get into the world of hacking! We will dive into topics from SQL injection to cookie manipulation and put you to the test with a challenge where you can win some prizes. No coding experience? No problem. Inside the School of Music
Join us for an inside look at the School of Music! Participants will be welcomed by our student ambassadors outside Alta Ham Fine Arts (HFA) for a guided walking tour of our music facilities. The tour will begin at HFA and continue to the new steps by Ham Hall, where guests will see Judy Bayley Theatre and Ham Hall (with an opportunity to step inside, pending availability). The experience will conclude at the Lee and Thomas Beam Music Center with a tour of the building and its state-of-the-art spaces. In the lobby of Doc Rando Recital Hall, a School of Music information table will be available with pamphlets and materials, and current students will be on hand to answer questions and share their experiences.

This session is designed to give prospective international undergraduate first-year & transfer students a brief exploration of UNLV's academic programs, campus life, student services, admission requirements and application procedures.
Student-Athlete Academic Services (SAAS) and UNLV's Department of Athletics will provide an overview of the NCAA and its academic requirements for prospective student-athletes. There will also be an opportunity for Q&A for students interested in participating at the Division I level.

Attendees will gain an overview of the wide range of programs and services provided by UNLV's Student Success team. This tour of the largest library on campus starts at the 25th Anniversary Exhibit, wanders through the Makerspace, classrooms, tutoring, Special Collections, and ends at the best view on campus! Your tour guides are current UNLV undergraduate students who can answer any questions about the libraries on campus or college life.
Dreamscape Learn
Step into the future of learning through UNLV’s groundbreaking partnership with Dreamscape Learn. In this immersive session, students will discover how storytelling, cutting-edge technology, and academic innovation come together to transform the way STEM concepts are taught and experienced at University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Participants will explore how Dreamscape Learn uses cinematic virtual reality to place students inside interactive narratives that deepen understanding and engagement. After a brief introduction to the program and its impact on student success, a select group of participants (up to 16 students) will step into the experience themselves. Students will take part in a classroom VR adventure through either the Art History module or the Environmental Start Pack, where learning becomes an unforgettable, hands-on journey.
Microcredentials: Level Up Your College Experience
Discover how microcredentials can help you stand out from day one. In this interactive session for prospective students and families, you’ll explore what microcredentials are, how they complement a major, and how they showcase real-world, career-ready skills in a flexible, focused format. Through examples and guided activities, participants will connect personal interests to in-demand competencies and learn how stackable credentials can strengthen a résumé, support career exploration, and personalize the college experience.
