Email Alerts (SOM Official Messages)
SOM Official messages are school-wide email communications sent by the marketing & communications team on behalf of the university, the dean’s office, or other school units. These alerts are reserved for important updates and announcements that require broad visibility within the organization.
What’s Happening Email Newsletter
This internal newsletter is delivered every Friday to all members of the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV and UNLV Health. It highlights key announcements, recent accomplishments, media coverage, and upcoming events.
Warmly Welcome
A monthly email collaboration between the office of human resources and the marketing & communications team that introduces new employees across the school and UNLV Health, while also recognizing recent promotions and internal transfers.
Digital Screens
Digital screens located at the Kirk Kerkorian Medical Education Building display announcements and event promotions. Faculty, staff, and student organizations may submit content via email to communications@medicine.unlv.edu, provided it adheres to the school’s brand policy.
External Communications
External communications include public-facing content that shares the school’s story with the broader community.

Our bi-weekly, subscription-based newsletter showcases the people, programs, and initiatives driving our mission to transform healthcare in Southern Nevada. It is open to the public and available to anyone interested in staying connected with the school.
