The Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine secondary colors are unique to the school within the UNLV system with the exception of rich black. Green is often associated with medicine and is linked with healing, nature, and calmness, which can promote a sense of well-being and tranquility in a healthcare setting. Gold symbolizes many things, but in reference to the school of medicine, denotes success, achievement, warmth, optimism, and wisdom. Silver, likewise, symbolizes many things, but in reference to the school of medicine, denotes innovation, advancement, and balance.
