Located in the heart of Las Vegas, the Department of Dance strives to train world-class dancers who meet the growing needs of the entertainment capital of the world. The scope of the training exceeds the Las Vegas commercial dance form. The international exchanges, world-renowned guest artists, and high-caliber artistic training give UNLV students a global understanding of the art of dance. As a cultural center, the department of dance brings the residents of Las Vegas the highest caliber of artistic concert dance. UNLV is "A World of Dance!"
What's Happening
The season celebrates where artistry and choreography come together at the epicenter of Las Vegas motion.
Designs on utility boxes at The Degree were created by College of Fine Arts students.
This final concert of the dance season wraps-up the glowing year of dance.
A concert of milestone and capstone choreographed works and lighting by Bachelor of Fine Arts majors.
The series, 'Arts in the Center,' will run Feb. 28 to June 5 at Historic Commercial Center and will highlight works from CFA schools and departments.
