Francis

Yoga
Francis
Francis teaches yoga and is a certified 200 hour ERYT (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher) and a 500 hour RYT. He’s been trained in different styles including but not limited to Ashtanga Vinyasa, Rocket, Yin, and Restorative. But his personal style throws that all out the window and focuses on the aspect of yoga that emphasizes using movement to clear the mind, all while having a good time. While originally from New Jersey, he’s lived everywhere from Provence in France to Manila in the Philippines. He’s hoping to see you in class, or maybe around town, usually eating, or perhaps in another one of his classes at studios around town.

Kathy

Yoga
Kathy
Kathy teaches Yoga and Pilates and received her 200 RYT at Shine Power Yoga, a Baptiste Affiliate, and her Pilates Mat Level I Certification through AAAI-ISMA. She has been doing yoga and Pilates for 20+ years. She chose Baptiste as her yoga training because she loved how Baptiste combined power and athleticism with the restorative and emotional health. Kathy moved to Vegas in 2019 to become a professor at Boyd Law School. She and her husband love to hike, cycle, SUP, kayak and swim. They live in Summerlin with their two cats, Owen and Lulu, who are natural yogis.

Lidia

HIIT with Moves
Lidia
Lidia is a Certified Elite trainer through ISSA, certified by Zumba, and Strong by Zumba. She has been in the fitness industry since 2016. She teaches HIIT and she has different formats and modalities when she teaches her classes. She loves resistance bands, and kettlebells. During the pandemic she was teaching virtual classes on our UNLV Campus Rec youtube channel, and her supervisor Sarah had an idea of a custom class called “HIIT with moves.” This class follows a HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) format, but combines some sassy dance moves in between reps with latin music. Lidia enjoys teaching because she enjoys motivating and inspiring everyone that steps in her class, making sure they have a good workout, but at the same time have fun doing it. If you like to break a sweat, you have to come and try her classes.

Stephanie

Yoga
Stephanie
Yoga compliments any sport or workout routine, it is also amazing by itself. Through the practice of yoga one aligns themselves mind, body, and spirit. Yoga benefits all 12 of your systems through the breath and postures combined not one alone. These are the concepts that Stephanie brings to the mat when she teaches her class. Stephanie is a certified yoga instructor, who has been practicing for eight years and teaching for four. She specializes in trauma yoga, yoga hands on assist and pilates. One of her favorite quotes is, “let the space between where you are and where you want to be inspire you not frustrate.” Stephanie has lived her life constantly on the move. Her parents were in the military, requiring her to move and live all over the world. She’s been to the tundra of Iceland all the way to the tropics of Hawaii. Stephanie honors and embraces all walks of life and cultures. She is currently seeking her bachelor’s degree to become a dietician. This is inspired by her belief that what one puts into their body matters. Mind, body, and spirit and can’t wait to see you guys in class helping you on your journey! Namaste
