Cassaundra Rodriguez is an associate professor of sociology in the College of Liberal Arts. Rodriguez says the lampshade in her office helps to "light the way for UNLV students taking their own leaps of faith" like she did in pursuing her career and coming to UNLV. (Becca Schwartz/UNLV)
