Sharmistha Roy (Social and Behavioral Health), Ashis Roy (Epidemiology and Biostatistics), and Manoj Sharma (Social and Behavioral Health; Internal Medicine) published an article titled, “Multilevel mental health determinants among college students: A social ecological scoping review,” in the journal, Mental Health & Prevention (Impact factor 2.4). The article was a scoping review of 26 studies on student psychological distress that identified the determinants using the Social Ecological Model (SEM). The study highlighted the role of culturally responsive and inclusive behavior change interventions, along with institutional and policy-level strategies to address this problem.
