Honors: Courtney Jones

Courtney Jones (Counselor Education, School Psychology, and Human Services) was a Hall of Fame inductee at the 2020 Rebel Awards. In her four years at UNLV she has been heavily involved with departments and organizations such as Student Diversity & Social Justice, Students United for Reproductive Justice, Students Organizing Diversity Activities, UNLV NAACP, & UNLV #BlackLivesMatter. As issues on campus and in the community have arisen, she, alongside her like-minded peers, has organized to demand and create change. Her work has included planning social awareness events, town halls, direct actions, and workshops. The award acknowledges that Jones has made significant contributions to UNLV and the Las Vegas community through her acts of service throughout her college career. She is an undergraduate student with a sociology minor.
