Alyx Phillips from Three Square Food Bank and Environmental and Occupational Health alum, Courtney Coughenour, Sheila Janofsky (both Environmental and Occupational Health), Ian McDonough (Economics), Jason Flatt (Social and Behavioral Health), Samantha John (Brain Health), and Lisa Segler from Three Square Food Bank presented a talk, "The association between food insecurity and transportation insecurity for older adults in Clark County, Nevada" at the American Public Health Association's Annual meeting in Minneapolis, MN. This work also received an honorable mention for the Erikson Award for the APHA's Aging & Public Health section.
