The ASC offers campus-wide tutoring for all UNLV undergraduate students at no additional charge. UNLV undergraduate students seeking tutoring services must be currently enrolled in the UNLV course for which they desire tutoring. The ASC Tutoring Program has two labs on campus: The General Subjects (LLB) Tutoring Lab and the Engineering Tutoring Lab (TBE A309). Please see the in-person and virtual tutoring opportunities listed below.

The tutoring program provides structured study time with peers, reviews of subject material and learning strategies to gain a deeper understanding of supported course content.
ASC tutors are current UNLV students who have completed the supported courses with a grade of “B” or better, and are recommended by partnering academic faculty.
*Please Note: Not all UNLV courses/subjects are supported by ASC tutoring.
ASC tutoring can assist students with formative assessments only within the learning process. But, to uphold the academic honesty code of conduct, students are strictly prohibited from receiving assistance for summative assessments such as quizzes and exams.
ASC tutoring does not provide support for exam readiness in the case of assessments such as the Law School Admission Test (LSAT), Graduate Record Examination (GRE), Dental Admission Test (DAT), Praxis, and so on.
It's important to note that this exception does not pertain to the ALEKS Placement, Preparation, and Learning (ALEKS PPL) exam. We do offer assistance for ALEKS.
ALEKS Placement, Preparation and Learning (PPL) provides learning modules for students who seek to improve their math placement at UNLV. Beginning June 2023, students actively enrolled in ALEKS PPL are eligible to seek tutoring for ALEKS PPL through Academic Success Center Tutoring.
