Focused on Student Success
Student Support
We know that it’s difficult to focus on your studies if you have more pressing basic needs. UNLV provides a variety of services that support students with issues such as food, housing, or transportation insecurity, child care, medical and mental health needs, and digital/technology access.
The Division of Student Affairs fosters academic success through robust programming that touches nearly every aspect of the student’s out-of-classroom experience. That impact starts with community-based college readiness preparation and continues with admissions and financial aid support, housing, student involvement, counseling, wellness, and graduation.
Through its nearly 500 staff members, Student Affairs programs provide individualized attention that ensures all students have the opportunity to thrive personally and academically. Tailored to UNLV’s diverse enrollment, Student Affairs services seek to remove barriers so that talented students stay enrolled and complete their degrees. That includes opportunities to gain valuable professional and leadership experience, academic and personal support programs, extensive scholarships, and financial aid resources.

School Spirit
We may be young, but we are mighty, and we have established many traditions in our short history. Whether kicking off the school year with Premier UNLV, fighting for the right to paint the Fremont Cannon, or celebrating our diverse cultures, our Rebel pride shines through.
