UNLV Selected as Official Campus for Hope Service Partner

UNLV, UNLV Health, and the School of Dental Medicine were among 27 Southern Nevada organizations named as on-campus service partners for Campus for Hope, a new approach to address homelessness in the region. The partner selection followed a competitive review process and the list was announced on July 21.

When completed in 2028, Campus for Hope will bring together housing and comprehensive supportive services through coordinated community partnerships to help individuals and families experiencing homelessness achieve long-term stability and self-sufficiency. The 20-plus-acre facility is currently under construction near Charleston and Jones Boulevards in Las Vegas.

As a Campus for Hope partner, UNLV will provide a coordinated network of services designed to promote stability, health, education, and opportunity for residents, and provide extensive workforce-aligned service and experiential learning opportunities for UNLV students.

Leveraging the expertise of faculty, staff, and supervised students from across the university, UNLV teams will deliver behavioral health care, health and wellness programming, legal assistance, workforce development, educational opportunities, family support, and financial literacy programming.

Through this interdisciplinary approach, UNLV will expand access to critical services while helping prepare the next generation of healthcare, education, legal, and behavioral health professionals to serve Southern Nevada's communities.
