UNLV Rebel Advocacy Training - Register Today!

The 84th Session of the Nevada Legislature will convene on Monday, February 1. The Office of Government and Community Engagement is looking forward to partnering with many of you in an effort to advocate for legislation important to UNLV, and to ensure our resources and participation are leveraged for the benefit of all Nevadans during this year's Session.

In preparation for this year's Session, Government and Community Engagement is, once again, offering Rebel Advocacy Training to assist the campus community with their efforts to engage in the legislative session. Current trainings are scheduled for: 

University Gateway Building

  • Date: Wednesday, October 14, 2026
  • Time: 12-1 p.m.
  • Location: GTW 268 & 269, 4700 S. Maryland Parkway

Health Sciences

  • Date: Wednesday, October 21, 2026
  • Time: 12 noon- 1 p.m.
  • Location: MEB-5-524 - 625 Shadow Lane

Lifelong Learning — Maryland Administrative Building 2

  • Date: Wednesday, Nov 18, 2026
  • Time: 2:45 - 3:45 p.m.
  • Location: 4350 S. Maryland Parkway

Blackfire Innovation

  • Date: Thursday, November 19, 2026
  • Time: 9 am - 10 a.m.
  • Location: 8400 W. Sunset Road

Student Union

  • Date: Wednesday, December 9, 2026
  • Time: 4:00 pm- 5:00 p.m.
  • Location: Room 207
