Nicole Hudson Named Executive Director of UNLV Lifelong Learning

Nicole Hudson has been appointed executive director of UNLV Lifelong Learning, effective July 15, 2025.

In this new role, Hudson will lead efforts to strengthen and expand UNLV’s community-facing education initiatives, including workforce and personal enrichment programs, credit for prior learning (CPL), and learner success strategies. She will oversee the development of high-impact, non-credit curriculum and credentials that align with regional workforce needs and support lifelong learning for individuals at every stage of life.

Hudson brings 30 years of experience in higher education, with expertise across enrollment management, online education, workforce development, and organizational leadership. Most recently, she has served as UNLV’s executive director of workforce education, where she supported the development of microcredential offerings, helped strengthen employer partnerships, and advanced efforts to expand access to credit for prior learning.

In this role, Hudson will oversee UNLV’s non-credit education portfolio, including workforce and personal enrichment programs, credit for prior learning, and learner success efforts. She will guide the development of programs that support career advancement, skill building, and lifelong learning for community members across Southern Nevada.
