Call for Artists: Participate in the Care Center’s Take Back The Night Artist Showcase

The Care Center invites artists to contribute work that honors the resilience of victim-survivors, promotes healing, and connects the community in the movement to end violence. Commemorate Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) by participating in our Take Back The Night Artist Showcase.

This event harnesses the power of art to raise awareness about domestic violence, provide a platform for dialogue and empathy, and inspire a collective stand against violence. Share your vision and help us amplify voices of resilience and advocacy through creativity.

We welcome a range of artistic mediums, including but not limited to:

  • Performing arts, dance, singing
  • Poetry, spoken word, and creative writing
  • Painting, drawing, and sculpture
  • Photography and digital art
  • Mixed-media and multimedia installations

Open to staff, faculty, students, and the public.

Submission Deadline: Sunday, Oct. 12 at 11:59pm

Event Date: Oct. 30 at UNLV Alumni Amphitheater 3 p.m.-5 p.m.
