The local division of a Japanese slot machine maker has donated $2.5 million to the hotel administration school at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

The UNLV golf program has been known to receive national recognition annually. As of Wednesday, the men’s team is ranked 24th in the country and the women’s program 13th.
