A new fall semester is afoot at UNLV, and so is a host of new happenings — from cool academic programs in burgeoning industries to a slew of milestone anniversaries.
The university will kick off the 2025-26 academic year Aug. 25 with its third consecutive year of record fall enrollment, clocking in at over 33,000 students.
Both new and returning students will have the opportunity to settle in with events designed to welcome and acclimate them to campus, including Rebel Ready Week orientation activities from Aug. 18-22 and a season opener UNLV Football game versus Idaho State on Aug. 23 at Allegiant Stadium.
