Slain UNLV professors Naoko Takemaru, Patricia Navarro Velez and Cha-Jan “Jerry” Chang were each remembered fondly by their grief-stricken colleagues Friday.

In a statement released Friday morning, UNLV President Keith Whitfield said there will be no on-campus, in-person final exams for the fall semester. Students will end the semester with their grades earned before Dec. 6.
