Vaccines are one of, if not the, most important developments in public health history, and despite nearly a century of data, some people still doubt their safety and efficacy. Infectious disease experts, however, do not—and if you're 50 years old or older, you're going to want to get certain specific jabs to keep yourself safe from some awful (and awfully contagious) illnesses.

Voting is now open for the newest student design challenge for the Exosphere of Sphere Las Vegas. Sphere Entertainment has launched its second annual XO Student Design Challenge in celebration of Earth Day on April 22. Students in the Clark County School District and at UNLV will have a chance to see their artwork displayed on the Exosphere, the world's largest LED screen.

UNLV President Keith Whitfield has announced his resignation from the university on Monday. He was appointed president of UNLV on August 24, 2020.
