Sharmistha Roy (Social and Behavioral Health); Ashish Kumar Biswas (Epidemiology and Biostatistics); Manoj Sharma (Social & Behavioral Health; Internal Medicine) published an article titled, "Evidence-based clinical effectiveness of Kundalini Yoga: Systematic review of RCTs across multiple health conditions" in the journal, Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine. The review found that Kundalini yoga appears to be a promising, safe, and beneficial for a wide range of cognitive, psychological, and physical health conditions. However, larger, standardized RCTs with biomarkers and longer follow-up are needed. Roy and Biswas are graduate students.
