Safiyya Bintali (English; Teaching and Learning) was awarded the 60th Nevada Centennial Medallion by the Las Vegas Rotary Club. Bintali is a 2024 graduate with B.S. in Secondary Education & B.A. in English. Since 1964, the Centennial Medallion is awarded once a year to a graduating senior based on a set of criteria including community involvement and high academic achievement. The final Medallion will be awarded on Nevada's 200th anniversary of statehood, in 2064.
