Published: Qing Wu, Yingke Xu, and Jovan Alvarez

Qing Wu, Yingke Xu (both Epidemiology and Biostatistics), and Jovan Alvarez (Life Sciences) published an article on “Tricyclic Antidepressant Use and Risk of Fractures: A Meta-Analysis of Cohort Studies through the Use of Both Frequentist and Bayesian Approaches” in the Journal of Clinical Medicine.

This meta-analysis aimed to quantitatively assess all eligible cohort studies that examined the effect of TCA use on fracture risk and to obtain a more comprehensive assessment and a more precise and accurate estimate about this effect.

Xu is a graduate student at the School of Public Health. Alvarez is a graduate student at the School of Life Sciences.
