Michelle Paul (UNLV PRACTICE; Psychology) and Christopher Kearney (Psychology) were awarded a three-year grant from the State of Nevada Department of Health and Human Services. The grant, budgeted for $2,246,378, is to develop a Doctor of Professional Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) degree program to prepare individuals for competent and ethical practice, with a particular focus on assessment and intervention regarding children and families, substance abuse, trauma, and, in particular, neurodevelopmental assessment for youth gestationally exposed to substances. This will also include a Spanish-speaking concentration.
