Manoj Sharma (Social and Behavioral Health; Internal Medicine) guided a doctoral scholar from Hormozgan University of Medical Sciences and coauthored an article titled, "A qualitative study to identify the determinants and strategies for the prevention of dengue fever in Iran," in the journal Scientific Reports (Impact factor 3.9). The qualitative study using focus group discussions and thematic analysis revealed seven key determinants for preventing and dealing with dengue outbreaks in Iran. Future interventions should address these determinants to effectively mitigate dengue reemergence.
