Kevin McVay (Sciences), Lauren Layton (Education), Rimi Marwah (Urban Affairs), and the Wilson Advising Center (Liberal Arts) are the winners of the 2019-20 UNLV Academic Advising Awards presented by the office of the vice provost for undergraduate education and the Academic Advising Council leadership team. These awards recognize individuals and advising centers that go above and beyond to serve the students, faculty, and staff at UNLV, as well recognizing their contributions to the advising profession. They won the following awards:
Outstanding New Advisor — Kevin McVay, College of Sciences Advising Center
Outstanding Advisor — Lauren Layton, Education Student Services Center
Outstanding Advising Administrator —Rimi Marwah, Urban Affairs Advising Center
Outstanding Advising Innovation — Wilson Advising Center, College of Liberal Arts
