On Friday, Sept. 12, California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) at Town Square is serving up more than just great food — it’s serving the community. All day long, when guests dine in, carry-out, or order online and mention University Police Department (UPD), 20% of food and beverage sales will be donated to support your University Police Department, Southern Command.
From 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., guests can see UPD officers step into the kitchen — throwing dough and making pizzas alongside the CPK team!

University Police Department’s officers and professional staff serve the four public higher education institutions in Southern Nevada: UNLV, NSU, CSN, and DRI. With over 73 sworn officers and 30 professional staff members, UPD responds to more than 300 calls each month — ranging from safety escorts to major incidents like the active assailant incident on Dec. 6, 2023.
