Passing of Former Mail Center Manager Henri "Hank" Day

It is with heavy hearts that we share that former Mail Center Manager Henri "Hank" Day passed away on Jan. 3.

Day's legacy at UNLV began in 1990 and spanned 28 years. For 17 of those years, he served as the manager of the UNLV Mail Center. He was a dedicated professional and a member of both the National (NACUMS) and Rocky Mountain (ARMCUMS) Associations of College and University Mail Services. To those who worked alongside him until his retirement in 2017.

Beyond his professional life, Day was a man of many passions. He was an avid dart player and a dedicated baseball fan who was close to achieving his dream of visiting all 30 Major League stadiums.

We are grateful for the nearly 30 years of service Hank Day gave to the Rebel family. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by the many colleagues who became lifelong friends during his tenure.
