Nominate an Outstanding Graduating Student for Recognition at Fall 2025 Commencement

The UNLV Commencement Committee is now accepting nominations for outstanding graduating students to be recognized during undergraduate and graduate commencement ceremonies scheduled for Dec. 16 and 17 at the Thomas & Mack Center.

Please help us continue this long-standing campus tradition by nominating a graduating student who represents the academic, research, and community impact of the fall 2025 graduating class.

Criteria:

  • Both undergraduate and graduate students can be nominated, but they must be eligible to participate in the fall 2025 Commencement.
  • Students can be nominated for outstanding academic or personal successes, including significant research work, academic performance, and/or community service.
  • Students also can be nominated for achieving their academic goals while overcoming an obstacle in life.

Please send a detailed submission to the Commencement Committee by 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, through the nomination form on the UNLV Commencement website.

We ask that you please be as thorough in your description as possible as the details included in your nomination will be very important in determining the next group of outstanding UNLV graduates.

Thanks in advance for your participation. If you have questions, please contact Keyonna Summers in the Office of Media Relations at keyonna.summers@unlv.edu
