Judges Needed for the 13th Annual Rebel Grad Slam 3-Minute Thesis Competition

The Graduate College is excited to host its 13th annual Rebel Grad Slam 3-Minute Thesis Competition. The event affords graduate and professional students to showcase and explain who they are, what they study, why they study it, what their research question is, how they're analyzing it, and — most importantly — why it matters to those outside their field using 1 PowerPoint slide and less than 3 minutes!

Participants will be evaluated on how well they explain and communicate the most significant parts of their research. We encourage faculty to sign up to judge the competition during the week of Nov. 2, 2026.

The home college of the Rebel Grad Slam 3MT winner will display the Rebel Grad Slam trophy for 2026-27, and the college with the most participants wins a pizza party!
