Formula 1 Traffic Impacts

The Formula 1 (F1) racing event  the Las Vegas Grand Prix  is taking place Nov. 20-22 with events scheduled on and around the Las Vegas Strip. Road closures and heavy traffic are expected on various commuting routes to and from the Maryland Campus. Please be aware that this year, qualifying and race events will begin two hours earlier than in years past. This means roads will begin closing at 1 p.m. each day. Please plan your commute to campus accordingly.

Visit the RTC website for information about road closures and detours. Individuals with questions on impacts to specific units should speak with their direct supervisor.
