UNLV employees and students are invited to take part in a community wide recycling drive and electric vehicle (EV) experience Saturday, April 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Allegiant Stadium.

Hosted by Republic Services and the Las Vegas Raiders in partnership with Sustainable Partners of Southern Nevada (SPSNV), the event includes UNLV and other local organizations working to promote sustainability and responsible waste reduction.

The event will offer an opportunity to learn more about electric vehicles and participate in a recycling drive. Partner organizations will collect accepted items on site, with UNLV employees and volunteers available to assist. Items accepted include paper for shredding, electronics, lithium batteries, clothing, furniture and light bulbs.
