Are you a proud UNLV alum with a cap and gown tucked away in your closet? Give it new life by supporting current students through the UNLV Cap & Gown Lending Program, an initiative of the UNLV Basic Needs Program.

We're seeking donations of gently used undergraduate caps, gowns, and tassels from UNLV faculty and staff (or parents of a UNLV grad) to help students facing financial hardships participate in commencement. Your donation directly supports their journey, allowing them to celebrate their achievements without the added financial burden of purchasing regalia. 

Our program received over 350 applicants this academic year, all indicating an inability to participate in commencement without the program's support. Thanks to generous alumni like you, the program loaned out regalia packages to 89 students in winter 2024 and 114 students in spring 2025. With your help, we can continue making graduation accessible for all Rebels.
