The Jean Nidetch Women's Center (Student Affairs) has received continuation funding from the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services: Division of Public & Behavioral Health in the amount of $54,338 to continue its prevention and education efforts on campus. These funds come directly from the Rape Prevention Education Program. 
Judd Harbin (Campus Life Assessment) in December was elected to serve as chair-elect of the board of directors for Student Affairs Assessment Leaders (SAAL) in 2018.
