Jennifer Vanderlaan (Nursing) recently presented a symposium, entitled, "Addressing Challenges to Establishing Water Birth Practices" at the International Confederation of Midwives Virtual Triennial Congress. Vanderlaan spoke on three of her research projects related to water birth, potential neonatal outcomes, and protocol reviews.
Deborah Rojas (Nursing), a doctoral student, was selected for the 2021-2022 cohort for the National League for Nursing Jonas Scholars Program. This is a very prestigious recognition that supports nursing education, faculty development, and more career opportunities.

Susan McLennon (Nursing) gave an invited scholarly presentation at the University of Navarra, Pamplona, Spain International Nursing Summer School on the topic "Moral Distress in Nursing Students." The virtual event took place earlier this month.
