Susan VanBeuge (Nursing) was named a 2021 American Academy of Nursing Fellow, recognized as a distinguished nurse leader and contributor to health and health care.  She will be officially inducted in October.
Karyn Holt (Nursing) was selected for the 15th class of fellows to be inducted into the prestigious National League for Nursing Academy of Nursing Education.   The induction ceremony will take place at the Honors Convocation on Saturday, Sept. 25, during the 2021 NLN Education Summit.
Andrew Thomas Reyes (Nursing) and student researcher Ehdzky-Ray Manzano received a $3,500 scholarship award from the office of undergraduate research's mentor-mentee program to help support Reyes' research about the efficacy of a mindfulness app for student veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder.
