Shelbi Schroeder's exhibition, "Indefinite Obsession," will be held in Grant Hall Gallery, located on the UNLV campus, from Jan. 26 to Feb. 1. The exhibition is open to the public daily from 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m., with an opening reception on Friday, Jan. 31, from 6-9 p.m.

Schroeder is a graduate student pursuing her Master of Fine Arts at UNLV. She is interested in the connections between the body and the mind. She is intrigued by the dualities of self-perception and finds herself on an obsessive quest. Her current photographic mediums range from digital to black and white as well as Polaroid. Her artworks represent a range of attitudes many have towards their bodies.

The Master of Fine Arts graduate program at UNLV is a 3-year, studio program. The program requires candidates to present solo exhibitions midway through the program and final thesis show. "Indefinite Obsession," is Schroeder's midway show.
