But at UNLV, a quiet revolution is taking place that deserves applause from every corner of the valley. In the spring 2025 semester, UNLV’s athletic department posted a record-breaking 3.36 cumulative GPA, its highest ever. It marks the 16th consecutive semester that UNLV’s student-athletes have achieved a department-wide GPA of 3.0 or higher.
