Shaoan Zhang, Ph.D., (Teaching and Learning) has been appointed to serve on the American Educational Research Association (AERA) International Relations Committee (IRC) for a three-year term through 2029.
AERA is the largest national research association dedicated to the scientific study of education and learning. The International Relations Committee supports AERA’s global engagement by promoting international research collaborations, strengthening connections with scholars and organizations worldwide, and advancing research on issues of international importance.
As a member of the committee, Zhang will contribute to initiatives that expand international participation in educational research and support global scholarly exchange in education. His appointment reflects his ongoing leadership and contributions to national and international education research and teacher education.
