Ph.D. candidate Renee Olney (Radiochemistry) has been awarded a prestigious fellowship with the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). As a member of the Class of 2026-2027 NNSA Graduate Fellowship Program (NGFP), Renee will begin a 12-month appointment in Washington, D.C., within the NA-22 Office of Defense Nuclear Nonproliferation Research and Development. This program is recognized as the U.S. government’s premier initiative for developing and retaining top-tier leadership talent in national security. Renee is a fourth-year Ph.D candidate under the direction of her advisor, David Hatchett (Chemistry).
