Reimund Serafica and Andrew Reyes (Nursing), and Dr. Francisco Sy (Public Health), along with their colleagues, were recognized by the Journal of Transcultural Nursing with the Best Article Award for 2024. Their paper, “Bridging the Gap: Reducing Health Inequities in Access to Preventive Health Care Services in Rural Communities in the Philippines,” was selected from among the journal’s most-read publications based on its quality, innovation, and impact. The authors were invited to receive their award during the Transcultural Nursing Society annual conference in October.
