Ravi Batra from Coforge Ltd., along with Jason D. Flatt, Jennifer R. Pharr, Manoj Sharma (all Public Health), Kavita Batra (Medicine) and colleagues Drs. Khubchandani, Kanekar, and Chirico from other prestigious institutions, published a study titled, "Exploring Social Support Strategies and Socio-Cultural Factors Influencing Social Isolation and Loneliness: The Role of Digital Literacy," in the Healthcare journal. This article advocates for targeted digital literacy interventions and theoretical frameworks designed to enhance technology adoption and reduce perceptions of social isolation, ultimately aiming to improve health outcomes and quality of life for the aging population. Ravi led this project while pursuing his doctoral degree at the School of Public Health. As part of his dissertation, he plans to analyze large datasets (by using Python Programming Language) to investigate social determinants of health.
