Manoj Sharma (Public Health; Internal Medicine) has been selected as the runner-up for the 2026 Delta Omega Award for Innovative Public Health Curriculum for the course “HED 720: Program Planning and Grant Writing in Health Promotion,” which he modified to meet the Council on Education in Public Health (CEPH) competencies and taught in spring 2026. Delta Omega, founded in 1924 at Johns Hopkins, is the International Honorary Society in Public Health with more than 130 chapters and over 30,000 members. He will be awarded the Recognition Certificate at the American Public Health Association (APHA) Annual Meeting to be held in November 2026 in San Antonio, TX. He will also present a webinar in Spring 2027 on his innovative curriculum.
