Notable: Lynn Comella

Lynn Comella (Interdisciplinary, Gender, and Ethnic Studies) was one of eight fellows selected for the 2021-22 class at the University of California National Center for Free Speech and Civic Engagement. She will receive funding to further the national conversation regarding freedom of expression and democratic participation on college campuses. Her fellowship project will examine campus controversies over pornography and sexual speech in an effort to develop best practices and policy recommendations for strengthening campus free speech initiatives. She is a professor of gender and sexuality studies.
