Caroline Zhang, J. Daniel Chi, Jagdish Mehta, Siegfried Anyomi, Robin Vitiello, Steven Borgna, and Yi Xiao (all Finance) attended the Teaching Personal Finance Conference at Stanford University. The conference provided an opportunity to exchange ideas, share insights, and learn from educators and researchers from around the world.
UNLV faculty were especially pleased to see their ongoing collaborative research with the Stanford team featured during the panel discussion, “AI in Financial Education.” The team presented findings from a randomized trial examining the use of AI chatbots in personal finance courses, which showed improvements in students’ financial knowledge. The group extends its sincere appreciation to the Stanford conference organizers, particularly Annamaria Lusardi, for her leadership and continued commitment to advancing financial literacy education worldwide.
