Christopher Kearney (Psychology) conducted a series of training workshops for educational agencies in September and October regarding supports for elementary, middle, and high school students and their attendance following pandemic-induced shutdowns. The workshops focused on a multi-tiered approach to support student functioning with respect to readjustment, traumatic stress, academic status, and health and safety. These included workshops for the Division of Educational Psychology at the Psychological Society of Ireland (Dublin), Atlantic Provinces Special Education Authority (Halifax, Canada), Southern California Special Education Administrators (Capistrano), Regional Offices of Education (Monmouth, Illinois), and the Educational Service Unit in La Vista, Nebraska.
