The part-time evening MBA is a flexible program that allows students to attend classes at a pace that fits their schedule. Students can attend full and part-time and are not locked into any one format. Beginning fall 2021, the MBA program will be offered in a hybrid format that combines in-class and remote instruction.
The MBA program allows students to follow a general MBA program curriculum or pursue a concentration area. Concentration areas within finance, marketing and management are available. Within the management concentration, students can create an emphasis in Health Care Management, Human Resources Management, Management Information Systems, or New Venture Management.
Elective courses can be selected from any 700 level course offered through the Lee Business School. A limit of two 600 level courses offered in the Lee Business School may be considered for elective credit.
Students work with a dedicated advisor to find the best plan of coursework to meet their needs. Sample course schedules are below that will assist students to finish the program in the time frame of their choice. The first three options are for students pursuing the MBA only. The fourth option is for students pursuing one of the dual MBA degree programs with Hotel, MIS, Law or Dental.
- Four courses per semester (expected to finish in 2 years)
- Three courses per semester (expected to finish in 2½ years)
- Two courses per semester (expected to finish in 3½ years)
- Dual Degree Program - MBA Degree Portion
These options do not include courses offered over the summer. Limited core/capstone/concentration and elective courses are offered during the summer. One of the electives offered during the first summer session is the MBA international trip where students travel to one or more countries to learn about the business and culture of that country.
