The Professional Golf Management Student Association (PGMSA) consists of students who are part of the Harrah College of Hospitality’s Professional Golf Management Concentration. As one of eighteen schools in the nation accredited by the PGA of America, our goal is to help promote the game of golf throughout communities around the world.

Who Should Join?

Students enrolled in the Professional Golf Management Concentration of the Hospitality major are automatically brought in to be part of the PGMSA. Though PGMSA membership is reserved for PGA Golf Management students only, we welcome all students and faculty to be part of our various activities in and around UNLV.

Events

UNLV’s PGMSA hosts various golf tournaments for its students and provides volunteers for the Shriners Hospital for Children Open, a PGA TOUR sanctioned event held here in Las Vegas every year. Other volunteer opportunities the PGMSA has a hand in include the Southern Highlands Collegiate Masters, the national PGA Merchandising Show, and the PGA Junior League National Championship in Arizona. The PGMSA also actively engages in fundraising by offering golf lessons to students and holding junior camps at various institutions.
